Role and company

Indigo is recruiting a CTO for a world leading e-learning scale-up in the hospitality industry. They run an e-learning platform that offers professional hospitality content in an interactive and effective way. The platform adds value to large hospitality companies by efficiently schooling their employees.


The tech division is based in Amsterdam and consists of +/- 40 people, responsible for development and maintenance of the platform. We expect strong growth, both in business and team size. Our ideal CTO candidate has a background in software development and has experience in scaling up SaaS companies.


The company has been very successful in seizing opportunities with an agile, ad-hoc and creative approach. We are looking for a CTO that can leverage the start-up momentum, by adding organizational rigor and strategic vision for the years to come.


Recently, the company has been acquired. It will remain fully autonomous and can now rely on the partnership of a large corporate. The company’s e-learning platform has endless potential, inside and beyond the hospitality realm. As part of the management team, you will shape the future of this great scale-up.



We are looking for an experienced CTO that can help this company grow to the next phase. You will be leading and organizing the technology division. Being part of the management team, you will help develop the business strategy and you will create the technology roadmap.


In terms of technological background, we look for CTOs with firm grasp of SaaS platforms, and a background in software development.


The company expects their technology division to double in capacity in the near future. We look for a highly accomplished CTO that enjoys leading the tech teams to the next phase, understands the personal dynamics and inspires people.  



  • Excellent remuneration, +/- Eur. 150k annually;
